Korean Art: Traditional Subjects and Modern Techniques
This collection explores Korean culture and sensibilities through a contemporary visual language. Blending traditional themes with modern techniques and materials, Kyungah honours her Korean heritage while highlighting her own lived experiences. Taking inspiration from Korean dance, landscape, rhythm, and contemplative spaces, the works move between representation and abstraction. By combining traditional imagery with expressive gestures, textures, layering and colour, the collection reflects and ongoing dialouge between heritage and contemporary experience.
