Korean ink and Acrylic with Mineral Pigments on Canvas
May, 2026
18in x 24in | 45.72in x 60.96cm
The more I paint,
the more I realize that beauty does not belong only to what is clear and complete.
There is something compelling in what is rough, imperfect,
and difficult to name.
Influenced by the emptiness of Eastern ink painting and the spirit of wabi-sabi,
I am drawn to the space where things appear, linger for a while, and quietly disappear.
After all,
we are all beings that stay for a moment and then fade away.
